Meet Lizette

Lizette is an Advisory Council Member of the South Platte River Youth Advisory Council. She works to address river pollution in the South Platte River to secure the river’s future health.
She is also a Team Supervisor for Lincoln Hills Cares, where she works with local organizations to alleviate food apartheid in Denver.Lizette graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International/Global Studies in 2024. Her major was politics, rights and development and her thesis was titled “Acknowledging and Remembering Deceased Migrants Crossing the US-Mexican Border”.
